Standing tall in the horizon
He looks over and ponders
As the wind carresses his face
With the drums of the beating waves

What he seeks in life is yet unknown
What he sees is the future, a blur
This confused being facing the world
Thinking of great expectations

This game he's been playin
has gone a step beyond his knowledge
Emotions are on the line
Not knowing what the outcome's gonna be

He continues to think, strong and hard
Not wanting to fall into a deeper rut
The wind that was carressing his face
No longer a comfoting feeling

The chill sends shivers down his spine
The beating of the waves seems even more thundering
The comfort he's once held seems dolorous
He's awaiting the cruel hands of fate for instructions

The game he's been playing seems one sided
The other players oblivious to the ploy
Frustration and emptiness beyond the point of tolerance
He questions the very essence of his intentions

And he awaits for the fate that has been written by that one divinity
Hoping things will go back to normal
The game, and the distractions he's been dealing with
Will fade away to nihility...
